The 2010 official launching of the Argentine men team »

This Wednesday took place the official presentation of the 2010 international season of the Argentine National Men Team. At Four Seasons Hotel, and with the presence of National, Province and Sport authorities, volleyball officials supporters, special guests, players and coaching team and the Media, the Argentine team gave the first step on this 2010 demanding season that includes the FIVB World League (including the Final Six in Argentina, July 21st - 25th) and the Italian Men World Championship, next September.

The Balance of the two-times South American Youth Boys Championship Gold Medal »

They are still with all the joy that two gold medals deserve. The Argentine National Youth Boys Team defended with great success - not losing a single set, the South American Championship in Venezuela. Anyhow, the work of the National Teams does not stop. Therefore, already included at the U23 Argentine Team, focuses in this "great" Youth Boys Team, in a very positive balance at the Continental competition.

Argentina as final round in the FIVB World League 2010 »

Lausanne, Switzerland, October 30, 2009 — The FIVB has awarded Argentina the honour of hosting the Final Round of the 2010 FIVB World League, the 21st edition of Volleyball’s flagship annual men’s competition. The Final Round is set to take place from July 21-25, 2010, in Argentina’s second largest city Córdoba, which was a host city at the 2002 FIVB Men's World Championships.

Argentina got the silver medal after being defeated by the Olympic Champion, Brazil »

The Final result does not speak of the great performance showed by the Argentine Women Team, that finished winning the Silver Medal, when on the last edition of this tournament, finished on the fifth place. The powerful home team of Brazil, several FIVB World Leagues and Olympic Champion, supported by a full yellow-green stadium was too much for the young Argentine Women Team, that did not stop fighting, showing its best performance on the third leveled set. Among other teams, Argentina defeated in Semi-Final, Perú, taking revenge of the 3rd round of the 2010 World Championship round. The final result was 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-22).

The Argentine Women Team qualified for the South American Semi-final bracket after defeated Paraguay »

On the second match in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the Argentine Women Team qualified for Semi-Final Round after defeating Paraguay 3-0 (25-9, 25-14 ,25-2) in less than an hour playing. Therefore, it stands among the best four teams, first goal of the coaching team headed by Horacio Bastit, to improve the 2007 Championship, when they finished on the fifth place. With this result the best ranked team of Pool A will be decided tomorrow, when Argentina plays vs. the home team of Brazil, at 7:00 pm local time.
