The Middle Player that came out of the Talented Plan of the Club Ciudad de Bolivar, played for La Union de Formosa and GEBA and travelled with the Argentine National Junior Men Team to Europe to participate of the friendly historical tour they will play in Italy, Spain and Poland. |

| The Argentine National Men Team setter, Santiago Orduna, is the new reinforcement of the Catania A2 Men Teams Italian League, coached by Hugo Conte. Orduna, who played the last two seasons at the Spanish Superliga, took a great step joining the competitive Italian Volleyball. |

The 2008709 ACLAV A1 League will start October 16th, 2008
Great challenges and a complete fixture with very important tournaments will have the ACLAV 2008/09 season. In September it will be the time of the World Challenge and the Mercosur Cup, in October, the ACLAV Cup and the start of the A1 Men Teams League with new format while in November, the new official tournament named "Super Four" will be settled. |

Argentina qualified for semi-final defeating Canada 3-2
In a great match, the Argentine National Women Team, coached by Horacio Bastit wrote history at the 7th Pan-American Cup defeating Canada after five terrific sets and stand now among the best four teams of the American continent. The 3-2 Argentine victory with 22-25, 26-24, 25-14, 21-25, 15-13 scores showed a great group performance but the stars of the victory were Leticia Boscacci and Georgina Pinedo. |
Argentina plays vs. Canada for a place at Semi-finals
The first goal has been already fulfilled, to obtain the same result at the Pan-American Cup as on the 2007 season (the 6th historical place) but the Argentine National Women Team looks forward to winning even more after closing the first round of the 7th Pan-American Cup with the best ever performance defeating, among others, the strong Dominican Republic Team and the local team of Mexico in Mexicali. |
